Virginia Blue Ridge Race for the Cure 2013

The Race for the Cure series raises significant funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement. It’s a time to celebrate survivors and their families while working toward the promise of ending breast cancer forever.

The effectiveness of Komen Virginia Blue Ridge's mission is entirely dependent on our network of sponsors and volunteers.

Our 4th Annual Race for the Cure was held on Saturday, April 13, 2013.  Thank you to all for your support of our Race!

75% of all funds raised, through our Race and other events are spent on our Affiliate's mission.
25% (no administrative cost) is spent on National breast cancer research.

Because of this Race, the Komen Virginia Blue Ridge Affiliate has granted nearly one million dollars to organizations who support local women who would otherwise have limited access to healthcare.

Because you participate, we can continue to have local screenings, diagnostics, education and treatments.
