Pink Car Has a Message

Kim Griggs works as a Mammography Technologist for Lewis Gale Imaging on Brambleton Avenue in Roanoke. She had her car, a VW BUG,  completely “car wrapped” in Pink .  This is her private crusade against any Government official or any Physician that feels that a yearly mammogram is not necessary. When asked why this was important to her she said, "I love it when women look at my car and give me the 'thumbs up.'  What I truly hope, is that it makes them think, "Hey, when was my last mammogram?" and they come in to the center and get it done.  That is my goal, to encourage every woman to stand up for themselves, care for themselves by starting with getting a mammogram."

Way to go Kim!!  You know how to stay true to your convictions. Read why Komen recommends an annual mammogram after age 40.  Kim and her car is available for local events.  Email Kim.
